You must have seen the famous movie 'The Secret', read some article on the internet or watched Law of attraction videos on YouTube. Law of attraction is becoming so main stream today because of internet and social media. There are countless books and many Gurus who preach law of attraction. But my question is for how many people the law of attraction actually did work. Has anyone other than the Gurus made any real money. Did you really got the benefit out of their books, paid courses or workshops. Before discussing it further let me summarize what exactly is LOA.
Actual principle 'Law of Attraction'
Now even if its get popularized by movie The Secret , LOA is not a new thing. This knowledge is old and I mean very very old. But during the passage of time and history it disappears and reappears again and again. But its official mention is in the late 1800s when the 'New Thought' become popular. After that many writers and philosophers talk about it from time to time.
Now as per LOA , your life is what you think. It means that your dominant thoughts influence and decide what will happen in your life. If you think positive, positive will happen. But if think negative and bad things then bad will happen to you. If you ask whether LOA work my answer is a big "YES"
LOA definitely. Its a nature's principle, just like gravity. So yes LOA works but you can't control everything in your life because we are co creators with universe. We co create life and happiness with universe. But one thing is sure that we can improve our life if we apply LOA and always have a positive attitude.
What Gurus are doing
The problem is that these Gurus are commercializing the LOA teachings. They presents LOA like some kind of secret hidden knowledge which only they knows. Also they sell this very basic knowledge in form of programs and workshops and behave like they are sharing some magic pill. Which will work instantly.
So, neither me nor this article is against LOA, but I am highly against with its commercialization. This knowledge is so simple and basic that it should be free. In fact this should be taught in primary schools to children so that the can start practicing early and fulfill their every dream.
Do you really need any mentor to practice LOA
No and a big No. You don't need any mentor or teacher to control your thoughts. You don't need a mentor to remind you to think positive. You don't need any mentor to tell you to take action for your dreams. I mean its a plain common sense. Just think positive your dream, work for it and visualise everyday that you have achieved it and feel happy. This is all you have to do. Feel the happiness like you already achieved your dream. And one day you will be surely there.
Final Thoughts
Following Law of attraction is basically training your mind. Visualisation is an art and it comes with practice. And visualising things which you want needs much more practice and focus. But after practicing few months you will start feeling results and and once you manifest one thing you will go onto next and then next .Slowly this becomes your lifestyle and your mind become trained for thinking what you want. And all this process does not cost you a penny. So better don't run after LOA gurus and try practicing LOA yourself. You will discover many things yourself and found yourself in love with this life and universe.
